Friday fanfare: more holiday stuffs!

Some more music of the season. Here’s one of my favorite carols, “The Boar’s Head,” as performed by Magpie Lane:

“Carol of the Bells” is also one of my favorite carols, and here’s a version by the Colorado-based a cappella group Pandora Celtica:

And finally, “(I’m Spending) Hanukkah in Santa Monica” by the great Tom Lehrer, who wrote this song because there were too few Hanukkah carols — as Lehrer himself put it, all the Jewish songwriters were too busy writing Christmas carols. However, this isn’t Lehrer’s version, but rather a version performed by the Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles, which may be the best thing ever in the history of things:
