my Dragon Con 2018 schedule

I have received my schedule for Dragon Con 2018 over Labor Day weekend in sunny Atlanta, Georgia. Said schedule is, as usual for me, batshit fucking insane. But hey, sleep is for the weak………………….

EDITED TO ADD: Another panel on Friday. Because I’m insane. And there will be at least one more update, as I will be doing an autographing or two (or three) at the Bard’s Tower booth in the dealer room at one of the (few) gaps in the schedule.

11.30am-12.30pm: “Warriors, Death Wishes, and Shaft: New York City in the 1970s,” w/Michael George Williams (M103-M105–Marriott)

4-5pm: practical self-defense workshop (313-314–Hilton) — open to all and sundry; please wear comfy clothes if possible

1-2pm: reading (Vinings–Hyatt) — I’m hoping to be able to read from my upcoming tie-in project that’s written but not announced yet — or I’ll read from the in-progress Mermaid Precinct, or maybe A Furnace Sealed, who knows?

2.30-3.30pm: 15-Minute Mentor Session, w/James Minz, Cat Rambo, and Robert J. Sawyer (Embassy G–Hyatt) — this is described thusly: “A chance for budding authors to talk one-on-one with a successful industry professional about business, promotion, the writing process, and career advice. Sign up in the Writer’s Track.”

5.30-6.30pm: “Success…What Happens Now?” w/Seressia Glass, A.J. Hartley, and John Ringo (Embassy CD–Hyatt)
